Building the corner that started it all

J.A. Fielden built the Walmart Supercenter at Turkey Creek, the retail corridor along Parkside Drive on the Knoxville–Farragut line. The store opened in January 2001, making it one of the early anchors of what has become one of the Knoxville area’s largest retail districts. The supercenter combines a full grocery and general merchandise floor with a pharmacy, vision center, garden center and auto care center. It’s a hometown project for a Knoxville-based team.
