A 130,000 SF logistics expansion with 18 new dock bays, sequenced alongside Volkswagen's operating Chattanooga assembly plant.

130,000 square feet added while the line kept moving.

Volkswagen needed more logistics capacity at Chattanooga: 18 new dock bays and 130,000 SF of plant expansion, with the assembly line running the entire time. We handled sitework and foundations, erected the structural steel building with its metal panel envelope, and built out the dock bays with concrete aprons and truck court paving.

Deliveries, crane picks, and trade access were planned around plant operations rather than the other way around. The expansion was completed in December 2022 with production uninterrupted.
