The Southeastern Glass Building

Knoxville, TNCommercial & Retail Completed 2010

A 1920s downtown Knoxville landmark converted into residential and commercial condos.

A 1920s landmark returned to downtown Knoxville.

The Southeastern Glass building had stood at Jackson and Broadway since the 1920s, and by 2010 it had been neglected for years. We renovated and added onto the 90-year-old landmark: top and side additions, rooftop terraces, and a new adjacent circulation structure that freed the original elevator shaft to become floor area.

Completed in 2010, the building holds 15 residential and 4 commercial condos, recognized with AIA awards at the chapter and state level.
